About us

Ask-re is an occupier-focused commercial property consultancy providing lease advisory, valuations, business rates, asset management and strategic property advice across the UK.

We help businesses reduce property costs, manage risk and make better-informed decisions about the space they occupy. Whether negotiating a lease renewal, challenging a rateable value, advising on an acquisition or managing a wider portfolio, our focus is always the same: protecting our clients’ interests and delivering measurable commercial value.

What makes Ask-re different is what happens next.

At Ask-re we support initiatives that help feed, educate and immunise children through carefully selected charities and aid organisations. We believe commercial success should create a wider benefit, and that property expertise can be used to make a meaningful difference beyond the businesses we advise.

It is an unusual reason to run a property firm. It is the reason we run this one.

How our work funds the purpose

We advise occupiers and businesses across the full spectrum of commercial property matters, including lease advisory, business rates, valuations, asset management and strategic property consultancy.

Where appropriate, our fees are aligned to the value we create, ensuring our interests remain closely connected to those of our clients. We believe that clients should receive clear, measurable value from the advice they receive, and we are prepared to share in the risk of delivering it.

The commercial success generated through our work funds our wider purpose. By helping businesses make better property decisions, we create the resources needed to support the charitable organisations we partner with.

Purpose Beyond Property

Every instruction we undertake contributes towards our wider purpose of supporting organisations dedicated to feeding, educating and immunising children. We believe commercial success should create a wider impact, and that professional expertise can be used as a force for good beyond the workplace.

Griffin Trustees Limited

As part of its statutory obligation to foster its business relationships with clients, suppliers and others, the company through its directors has established and contributes a share of its profits to a fund, the trustees, delegated managers or administrators of which the company’s clients, suppliers and others are welcome to write to seek a discretionary award. The fund is wholly independent of the company and the unfettered exercise of discretion in respect of the award or non-award of monies is a matter wholly for the trustees of that fund.

Are you overpaying on your premises?

Most businesses we audit are losing money to incorrect rateable values, billing errors, or service charges they shouldn’t be paying. The first conversation costs nothing and usually finds something. Book a free review and we’ll tell you what we’d look at.
