BNP Paribas to relocate London staff to award winning offices

By Ashley Brunskill

BNP Paribas' UK corporate real estate arm is to move to new headquarters this autumn.

The staff at its office in 90 Chancery Lane will join their colleagues in Old Broad Street who are also relocating to a new base at 5 Aldermanbury Square.

However, the company's staff at 30 Charles II Street will remain at their current base where the company will continue to house its West End agency and property management team.

The real estate office switch is part of a decision by the parent group of BNP Paribas to streamline its workforce by locating almost all of them within the one building.

Eric Parry Architects, who designed the site, won two awards from the British Council of Offices (BCO) and the BCO complimented the design for its "bold and brave but also incredibly elegant" nature.

Some of the features include a ground-floor atrium and larger public space between Aldermanbury Square and Wood Street.
