Business space leasing deal agreed by Sky TV for office space in Stockport.

Sky TV has agreed a business space leasing deal for an office in St Peter's Square, Stockport.

The company has agreed a business space leasing deal for 25,000 sq ft of space at St Peter's Square development and will pay £18.50/sq ft on a 15-year lease, with a break clause at ten years.

Neil Mort, development manager of Salford-based BAM Properties, said: "To have secured half the space at St Peter's Square to Sky certainly justifies BAM's commitment to building this development speculatively."

He added that it has been a great start to year for the company and it is working with Sky to complete the opening of its customer service centre.

Sky hopes to move into the office space by July.

It has recently been reported that Bupa Insurance Services has made a property investment deal for 45,000 sq ft office space at Invista Foundation Property Trust's Victory House.
