Edinburgh may soon benefit from a new waterfront business space leasing.
A developer has put forward plans to Edinburgh council for the construction of new corporate real estate in the Scottish capital.
According to Official Space, the new waterfront offices will provide 5,000 feet of office space in the heart of the city and will also boast strong green credentials.
Nathan Thompson, managing director at Forth Properties, commented: "We are proud of our commitment to the regeneration of Edinburgh's waterfront in which we have invested over £150 million over the past 12 years."
He added that the building will help to promote the long-term growth of Leith and Edinburgh.
In addition to corporate real estate, the new building will also house a cafe and restaurant on the ground floor and will be geared towards accommodating the needs of financial and professional service providers.
In other recent developments, the Islington Gazette has announced that the headquarters of Sainsbury's is the first of the railway lands development in King's Cross, London.
